ANTIQUE 19thC JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD CARVED BAMBOO WALKING STICK, WARRIOR & EAGLE. The shaft is well carved with an eagle perched in a pine tree, a bearded warrior figure standing below.
The shaft is strong and straight with a good aged patina, especially around the root ball. A metal ferrule protects the end.
Length: 90 cm or 35 3/8 inches. In good antique condition, without damage or restoration, with expected light wear and signs of use and some glue residue visible around the ferrule.
