ANTIQUE MALACCA CANE- CARVED DOG FACE ANTLER HANDLE- HALLMARKED SILVER 1929. Item Description Antique Mens walking cane Interesting antler handle/top Features carving of a dogs face and ears with glass eyes Dog appears to be a bull dog or mastiff Silver collar with leafy collumns Hallmarked for Chester 1929 Sturdy Malacca cane shaft with mild flexibility Bi-metal ferrule Condition note Handle: The antler is in good aged/used condition with the expected wearing and marks. The carved features remain prominant with mild wear around the dogs muzzle. Collar: Silver collar without any major dents, a few small dings/marks and surface wear/rubbing.

Cane shaft: In the expected condition with mild surface wear. Appears to have been previously stained and glossed. Bi-metal end: Remains fixed and solid however does show signes of use, wear and splitting.
