SUPERB 19TH C LION HEAD WALKING STICK DRESS CANE, CARVED TIGER'S EYE & STERLING SILVER. This exceptional cane is topped with sterling silver and a carved lion head.The lion head is beautifully carved from a fine piece of tiger's eye. The cane was made by William Appleton Drown & Co.

This exceptional piece came from the estate of a descendant of the Lyon family of Philadelphia. The cane/stick measures 35 long.
