This is a small collection of genuine old artefacts. The ZULU knobkerrie is 770 mm. The ZULU stick is 920 mm.
The CHOKWE baton de chef/commandement is 590 mm. This is a nice representative collection of tribal artefacts. The spiral-carved darkwood stick is strong, light and comfortable in the hand. The shaft has slight irregularity and old dark patches which add to the character.
The knobkerrie is sound and solid. Old hairline crack to the head. The grip flares to the butt.
The CHOKWE knobkerrie/baton de commandement has a finely-detailed, off-centre elliptical head. It is sound and solid with old signs of use.
