Antique African Figural Carved Walking Cane Staff Stick

This is an outstanding African cane from I believe is from the Luba people of central Africa. This very well carved cane is 38.75 in length. The cane body is made up of two birds heads at the top, then an undulating snake biting the head of a lizard. There are two more small bird heads and back to back human figures. All are finely carved and covered with a rich, dark patina. This is a robust cane that is in excellent shape with only one small crack running half way up the stick.
