Antique carved figural dog head walking stick. I'm almost certain it's carved from ebony as the wood is dark and heavy. The dog has yellow glass eyes.

The carved head has fine detailing. It does have an age related split along one side of his mouth.

And an age related split on one side of the cane. I've tried to capture these in the photos.

Still doesn't detract from the overall fine look of the walking stick. Measures almost 37 inches to the top of the dogs head. Probably made in Continental Europe.
