These are so rare that you that this is only the third one I have owned in 30 years of cane collecting. The condition is extremely good with honest hand wear on the paint and some missing bark on the shaft.

Two piece ferrule with wear and dings. These are found only in the finest collections. Carved by the Czilinsky family , the finest carvers of animal head canes in the world in the early 20th Century Ca 1900. Carved from one piece of hazel and retailed by Swaine Adeney (the tiffany & Co of England) and Brooks Brothers in the US. This one is American by the "sterling " hallmark on the collar..
