Antique Old Folk Art Carved Cane Walking Stick Deer Stag Horn Antler Hoof Wood

It has Normal patina and wear from age and use over many years. There are age cracks in the wood especially the carved horn which I believe is carved out of wood.

The cane is very solid and sound. There are no repairs or issues other than the missing piece that was screwed onto the end of the horn. I would guess that would have been a deer head or animal head of some sort. One could still be added to that spot because it simply screwed off and was lost over the years. One could search and find something to attach , and you could put on whatever you like. The cane itself shaft itself has normal bumps and scratches , and a missing bob on the very bottom where it meets the floor. This is very common for old canes. A tip could easily be added.

Some of the hair that was added on the hoof is also missing , and again this is easy to add if you have the desire. It looks fine just the way it is though. The length of the cane is about a little over 33 inches.

There are no chips or missing pieces in the carved folk art area of the cane except what I mentioned. It has a wonderful patina from age.
