Walking Stick or Cane Handle. Made of Carved Stag Horn & Sterling Silver. We'll let the market decide its worth. Is beautiful and unique cane handle to your collection or have it made into a very fine and dignified walking stick quite easily. And pass it on for generations to come! It is made of carved stag horn, a sterling silver collar, a short bamboo wood section of 2.5 inches, and a sterling silver sleeve to attach to the stick. I'm only guessing, but I would say it was handmade as all of the parts are unique pieces and seem to have been carefully chosen to make the handle. The larger silver portion is finely decorated, with the initial "R" engraved into it. This large carved horn measures about 4.5 inches long and an 1.5 tall; the h eight of the entire cane handle is about 5.25 inches, and it is about 3/4 inch across at its widest point. The bamboo portion is 2.5 inches long. I cannot find a single mark or "made in" anywhere on it; however the silver collar and the silver sleeve (at the base) both say "STERLING" on them. Both are in good shape and do not need fixing or replacement. This piece is in excellent vintage condition, that means it shows some age; ho wever, t here are no cracks, repairs, or anything broken that needs to be fixed.
