Antique Vintage Walking Stick Shillelagh Cane. This absolutely magnificent Antique Shillelagh with a Hand Carved Giraffes Head is in excellent estate condition. There are no known imperfections. The giraffes head is extremely detailed with full facial & head features. The head tapers at the neck and becomes the top portion of the shaft. This is followed by what appears to be a bone insert. The shaft of the Walkingstick is made of five pieces of wood that are permanently attached.

The shaft has two bone inserts one just below the neck of the giraffe and the other 2/3 down the shaft. The shaft has a wonderful smooth gloss finish and gently tapers towards the bottom. There is no metal tip. The woods are fine grain and vary slightly in color and grain patterns. This antique Walkingstick will be come a part of your collection you will treasure for years to come.
