The Fox Head is skillfully carved, with realistic features, especially the teeth and muzzle with damage to one ear small section is missing. It seems to have kept its original varnish, and the wooden shaft appears to be holly.
Some old woodworm holes, which is pretty common for older wooden things & has been retreated as a precaution. In good shape considering age, apart from the section of missing fox's ear showing the kind of wear you'd expect from genuine use over time. Genuine appealing folk art walking stick.
