Carved Pheasant Head Antique Walking Stick Cane Handmade

The Pheasant Head is skillfully carved, with realistic features. Time worn red and orange paint highlights its face with a glass or bead eye. The shaft has some varnish left, but it's worn in places, which is exactly what you'd expect with something this age and the wooden shaft appears to be holly. Some old woodworm holes, which is pretty common for older wooden things & has been retreated as a precaution.

Split in the wood on one side of the face. In good shape considering their age, apart from the kind of wear you'd expect from genuine use over time.
