DESCRIPTION: Antique Folk Art carved cane. Dating back to the 19th Century this Folk Art Walking Stick Cane has a Carved Burl Gentlemans Head. Probably dates Circa 1860/70 or possibly earlier.

Featuring a silver band with initials. Didn't test if sterling or plated and it is not marked. Carved head wears a wig, and it's carved from one small Burl. Its a really nice Folk Art carved walking stick. Some minor shrinkage cracks in burl. Original paint worn in areas(from use and probably polishing of silver). Has initials on silver band.

Original brass ferrule has heavy wear and has bends, dings, losses you would expect from the use of this walking stick. Great folk art piece that displays beautifully.
