Rare Anton Sveen Norway Hand Carved Male Troll WithPipe & Walking Stick-Unsigned
Rare Anton Sveen Norway Hand Carved Male Troll W/Pipe & Walking Stick-Unsigned. The figurine is 5 3/8" high, 5 1/4" across and approximately 4 1/4 deep. Though not signed, this troll is carved in the typical Sveen walking motion with a hunched back, pipe in their mouth, wart on the nose, walking stick in one hand and the other hand in the trolls pocket. There are no chips, cracks or repairs though there is a burn type mark under his chin, not visible from the front and a second smaller dark mark to the right of the lower button on the jacket. We believe these were done when he was made.
