Beautifully carved Ebony shaft, large repoussé decorated Sterling Silver Top, original Brass Metal Ferrule. Several Counties import/export marks finally Hallmarked London, date letter R for 1892, Samuel Boyce (or Boaz) Landeck maker's mark. Silver polishes to a high sheen with slight oxidation & cleaner build-up, moderate age-related surface marks, scratching & dings. Wood has a good colour, is straight and sturdy, without splits or cracks, you may notice surface scratching & a 2cm shallow gouge either side of shaft ¾ down.
