Unusual Carved Walking Stick Cane Twisted Snakes Briars Thorns 88cm Folk Art. Unfortunately I do not have any history on this item, but can confidently say it is a lovely piece. Sticks are not my area of expertise, but I will try my best to describe it and answer any questions. No idea of age or place of origin. It looks to be carved from one piece. It has leaf decoration around the handle. There are then two twisted snakes running the length of the cane - both with white eyes (could be stone or glass). The body of the snake at the top is actually standing above the body of the cane in places.

The stick itself resembles a briar. There is a metal end cap in place. The end of one of the pointed briars has been damaged.

I cannot see any other damage. Has a few flecks of white paint in places. Most of my prices are "firm and haggle-free".
