The one with the RTR on and the places would have most likely been the countries the solder was posted too. The notches could have been number of tank kills but who knows?
North Africa, Italy and Germany were the main areas where the RTR's campaigns were mainly faught under Monty against the Axis. Collection is possible from bexleyheath Kent near a2. Deliver is for mainland U. Only please ask for other locations.
I have entered two walking sticks /canes together as they came from the same house clearance and private collection. One of the sticks is a hiking stick with various vintage badges over it, if you require more detail on these badges please ask. One of the badges has been censored with a small bit of masking tape by me. It's a badge from Germany ww2 period. The second stick /cain is for me the far more intriguing one, it has many hand carved elements the brass countries straps I have been told have most likely been made from shell casings. It has links to royal tank regiment and would have belonged to Somone who served with them during ww11 period. The other most interesting point to.Note is the notches on the reverse of the stick which look as if they would. Have been made with a knife, I have no idea what they represent but the mind boggles with the endless possibilities of what each notch could possibly represent. Never seen anything like this before a truley unique opportunity for a collector at a very sensible starting price. Dimensions: hiking stick 90cm long, royal tank regiment 86cm long. Please ask any questions you may have.
